Of course we all are blessed with gut feelings but oftentimes we ignore the feeling and later repent not having heeded it. When you meditate, there is an integration of all your mental, emotional and physical faculties. When you sit to meditate, your limbs are still, your breathing slows and your mind is still. This is the time, when your conscience; your gut feeling talks to you. It’s said when you pray, you talk to God, but when you sit down inmeditation, you allow God to talk to you! Hence, it’s during meditation methods when your gut communicates to you. And the gut is a store-house of your past experiences, intuition etc.

Stress-related illnesses are at an all time high in America, and there is no sign it will lessen. For the most part, doctors have identified the basic cause of this to be our “seriousness”. By that they mean taking ourselves too seriously, thus causing so much pressure that any meaningful stress management is impossible.
