In today’s world women and men are equal in many ways. Many women have full time jobs and care for their families. There are more responsibilities that are falling on female shoulders. Subsequently it increases daily stress and physical exhaustion. Stress is supposed to be good for us; it keeps us alert and motivated. Yet, too much stress or prolonged stress can lead to depression in people with predisposition.

The professional licensed Marriage and family therapist will have met some very strict educational requirements for any state in the union. In addition to this educational process there are MFT continuing education requirements for license renewal in most states as well. Each state has their own requirements as regards to the content of the allowable MFT CEUs but all states will have a minimum number of CEUs required regardless of the content. The challenge for the busy MFT has been traditionally to find enough time in an already full schedule to personally attend seminars and classes which would count toward their MFT continuing education requirements. Fortunately, distance learning for MFT CEUs has lightened this burden considerably.
